YAUが始動した本年2月より、YAU STUDIOにてスタジオプログラム『INSIGHT/ONSITE: Studio TPR』を実施してきたTOKYO PHOTOGRAPHIC RESEARCH(TPR)が、今回のYAU TENでは、スタジオにとどまらず、有楽町の街なかも舞台に作品を発表します。YAU STUDIOでは立体や音と映像の作品、3Dアーカイブデータなど写真の枠から拡張した表現形態の作品を公開し、丸の内仲通りを中心に街路やビル共有部、空き店舗空間では、複数のアーティストによる場と呼応した作品群を発表します。また、新有楽町ビル1階で展開中のアートプロジェクト「ソノ アイダ#新有楽町」では、藤崎了一、Hogaleeの2組が滞在制作を行います。また、アート表現の場として魅力的な、街なかに点在するデッドスペースの発掘・攻略にも挑戦し、都市とアーティストの実践を有楽町で行います。

「中銀カプセルタワーバーチャルツアー」
1972年に竣工した黒川紀章の代表作品である「中銀カプセルタワービル」が、2022年4月、建設から50年を経て、ついに解体されることとなった。東京の中心に生まれた類を見ないこの建築は多くの人々を魅了し、そして愛された建築となったのはいうまでもない。今回の展示はその中銀カプセルタワーの住人でもあったARCHI HATCHの徳永が、カプセルタワーの最後の姿を記録したものであり、もう立ち入ることができないカプセルタワーの全貌を体験できる3Dバーチャルツアーを世界で初めて、東京の中心である有楽町で展示をする。

TOKYO PHOTOGRAPHIC RESEARCH (TPR), which has been running the studio programme "INSIGHT/ONSITE: Studio TPR" at YAU STUDIO since YAU's launch in February this year, will present works at YAU TEN, not only in the studio but also on the streets of Yurakucho. In the YAU STUDIO, works in forms of expression that extend the boundaries of photography, such as three-dimensional works, sound and video works and 3D archive data, will be exhibited, while in the streets, building common areas and vacant shop spaces, mainly along Marunouchi Naka-dori Avenue, multiple artists will present works in response to the site. In addition, two artists, Ryoichi Fujisaki and Hogalee, will be participating in the "Sono Aida #Shinyurakucho" art project on the ground floor of the New Yurakucho Building. The project will also take on the challenge of discovering and exploiting dead spaces dotted around the city that are attractive as sites for artistic expression, bringing the city and artists together in practice in Yurakucho.
