敷地南側に線路土手と六義園を控える、という立地を活かし、すべての住戸において豊かな眺望の得られる重層長屋を考えた。
南側の大きな開口部を実現するために、構造耐力上必要なXY方向の内壁を平面の凹凸として積極的に組み込むことで、ワンルームでありながらも多くの異なる場所が存在するような住戸平面をつくっている。
また平面上の凹凸だけでなく、床・天井の高低差やスキップフロアなど凹凸のある断面構成を取り入れることで、ひとつの住戸のなかにより多くの居場所が見つけられるような空間を目指した。

We've designed a terrace house that offers a rich view of all dwelling units, taking advantage of the location of the railway bank and Rikugien Garden on the south side of the site.
To realize a large opening on the south side, the inner wall in the XY direction, which is necessary for structural capacity, was positively considered as unevenness that appears in the dwelling unit. As a result, it is a dwelling space where there are many different places even though it is a studio apartment.
In addition to the unevenness of the floor of the dwelling unit, the different floor levels, such as the skip floor are adopted to create a space where more places can be found in one dwelling unit.
